Language patterns that empower create great opportunities for youngsters – sadly, all too often teachers, advisers, carers and (especially) parents get it horribly wrong in the use of suggestion. By understanding some simple rules of linguistic suggestion advisers and
educationalists can learn to empower young people in a way they
previsously thought impossible.
Our fabulous technology transfer programme SMART Thinking for Young People provides teachers, youth offender workers, carers and advisers with the linguistic tools to question the thinking patterns and behaviours of young people in a way that opens up new choices and possibilities. Drawn from our professional therapeutic disciplines of NLP, Rational Emotive Behaviour, Cognitive Behaviour, Clinical Hypnotherapy and Transactional Analysis, we introduce groups of professionals to questioning and prompting techniques that create thinking and behaviour shifts. |
